Intensive Workshop for Directors and Actors
In June 2026 the Otto-von-Guericke-University of Magdeburg, Germany invites you to step into a unique space where creativity, exploration and experimentation come together. Our International Intensive Workshop for Directors and Actors is more than a learning program – it’s an opportunity to share ideas, study and experience a special directing technique and create your own international network of directors and actors.
Over the course of 8 days world-famous and award-winning director Mark Travis will teach you the Travis Technique he developed for a trusting collaboration between actors and directors. The intensive workshop is therefore aimed at directing and acting students.
From 20th– 27th of June 2026 your classroom will be in the little German mountain town of Ballenstedt. Prepare to discover a place with welcoming open-minded people, lots of creative vitality, a big blooming garden, a rich history and green woods to recharge your concentration and energy.
